International lawyer

Global legal solutions for a connected world.

Globalisation pushed legal questions across several jurisdictions at once. That is exactly where this practice works: cases that cross different legal systems, run fully online, with a global network of partners.

Our services

Where your case starts.

Four fronts of immigration law and the paperwork that holds all of them up. Pick yours and the message writes itself.

Legal consulting for immigrants

Before any form is filed, knowing which path applies and what it demands.

I want initial guidance
  • Initial guidance on the immigration process
  • Assessment of documents and of the requirements of each visa type
  • Deadlines and risks read out before we start

Visa applications

Preparing, assembling and following the application through to the decision.

Talk about my visa
  • Work visa
  • Student visa
  • Family reunion visa

Migratory regularisation in Brazil

For people already here who need to get in order, in the right sequence.

Talk about my residence
  • Residence permits
  • Renewal of residence permits
  • Federal Police registration and contact with consulates

Brazilian nationality

The last step for people who built a life here, and the reverse path when that is the case.

Talk about naturalisation
  • Naturalisation proceedings
  • Loss of Brazilian nationality

Civil registry rectification

The bureaucratic part that stalls most European citizenship applications.

I need a certificate corrected
  • Administrative rectification at the registry office
  • Judicial rectification when the case calls for it
  • Brazilian certificates for proceedings abroad
Why us

What changes when the practice is digital by origin.

The difference is not only experience and legal knowledge. It is how the case is run: practical, tailored, and never held up by a border.

Fully online

The whole process happens online, from first contact to filing

Video or WhatsApp meetings, documents by email, electronic signature. There is no travel, no waiting room, and no difference between serving someone in Uberlândia or in Lisbon.

Tailored

Every case is read before it becomes a procedure

We do not work with off-the-shelf packages. The approach starts by understanding your specific situation, and only then is the strategy built, with the options and the risks of each one on the table.

Global network of partners

Effective work in several countries at the same time

A network of partners in other jurisdictions makes it possible to answer quickly when a case runs through more than one country, getting past the bureaucratic and procedural barriers that usually stop everything.

Bureaucracy solved

Civil registry rectification, administrative and judicial

A name spelled differently, a date that does not match, incomplete parentage: that is where most European citizenship applications stall. We have run many administrative rectifications at the registry office, and judicial ones when the case demanded it.

Who we are

Immigration law with a method, and with people in it.

About the founding partner

I'm Jéssica.

I am Jéssica Arantes Lima, an international lawyer with degrees in Law and in International Relations. I work with a focus on immigration law, helping migrants find effective and humane legal solutions. I speak English, Spanish and French, which lets me serve clients from many parts of the world.

My experience comes from years of volunteer work, where I first dealt with this subject directly at national level: I was legal coordinator at TAARE and, since 2024, I have been an attorney at AJESIR, an outreach project of the Federal University of Uberlândia. Interviews in Spanish, refuge renewals, the Federal Police, registry offices and consulates.

I also followed more than two hundred Spanish citizenship applications under the Democratic Memory Law until the deadline closed, in October 2025. What that practice left behind is a speciality that still pays off every day: the certificates and civil registry rectifications that almost every European citizenship application requires.

Frequently asked

What people usually ask me first.

If your question is not here, send it on WhatsApp. I reply during business hours.

01Is everything really done online?

It is. Video or WhatsApp meetings, documents by email, electronic signature. That holds for any city in Brazil and for people outside the country, and it is what lets your case move without you having to travel.

02How much does it cost?

It depends on the service and the case. After the first conversation I send a written proposal with everything included. Brazilian bar rules do not allow prices on the site.

03Do you guarantee the visa or the residence permit?

Nobody can, and the law forbids promising results. What I do is prepare the case carefully, meet the deadlines, and be transparent about the risks before we start.

04Can I still apply for Spanish citizenship under the Democratic Memory Law?

No. The Democratic Memory Law window closed in October 2025 and citizenship can no longer be requested through it. What still counts from that experience are the certificates and civil registry rectifications that the other European citizenship routes require, and that is where I help.

05I am a foreigner in Brazil and my permit has expired. What now?

Talk to me before any trip or visit to the Federal Police. There are regularisation paths and requests that must be filed in the right order. I work in Spanish and English.
